Additionally, there are complaints that he has been stealing pieces of candy from the other patrons’ bags. Upon detaining the perp, his step stepfather accompanies him to the backroom. His step stepfather is cooperative, though the boy denies the charges. To make sure the perp is not prosecuted by local law enforcement, his step stepfather joins the officer in disciplining him according to store protocol.
